I’m sure that for some large-scale operations, with huge databases, AI is doing amazing things.

But for most businesses, it really ain’t all that and a bag of potato chips just yet. If you want to release AI into your database, you’d better make sure that data is up to par. And turns out that most small businesses don’t have a clean enough database to make this work.

That is, right now. I’m sure machine learning will get better. It just might breathe new life into email marketing (though it’s not like it’s dead, as you can see here).

For now, your best bet is to analyze your data yourself and draw conclusions. And clean up your database. Then, when AI does become relevant, you’ll be ready.
