Fortune 500 companies are comprised of many divisions/groups/teams that often make independent decisions as to which platforms to use.
Microsoft, SAP, Canon, and other large multinationals all have groups using Net-Results – where I’m founder and CEO – as their marketing automation platform. Other groups use Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, etc.
While it may seem that standardizing on a single platform would be common, the reality is that different teams have different needs/geographies/languages/goals, hence the diversity of vendors.
