There are two main currencies you’ll be paying with for your marketing automation platform migration: behavioral data and your time.
Now, obviously you’ll have to migrate your assets. If you work with a stellar customer success team (like the one we have at Net-Results – top-rated in the marketing automation category on G2 Crowd) that can be done relatively painless and quickly.
But there’s currently no way to migrate behavioral data – contact activity, performance metrics, etc. You’ll have to start from scratch in your new platform.
And then there’s time. You will need to learn a new platform. Set it up properly. All that.
But is it worth it? We get a lot of customers that come over from other platforms (Net-Results is often dubbed “the 1st choice of people buying marketing automation for the 2nd time”) and they’re all happy they did.
