1. Start with the Basics

If you’re just dipping your toes into the world of marketing automation and are looking for a great overview, you’ll probably want to start at the very beginning.

This Marketing Automation 101 Whitepaper is an excellent Marketing Automation Resource to give all the quick basics that you’ll need to really understand:

If you’re more of a visual or audio learner, video might be the perfect marketing automation resource platform for you!

There are a ton of different online platforms to learn more about digital marketing these days; Udemy and SkillShare tend to be some of the most popular!

But if you’re looking to go to free route — you should check out the Net-Results Youtube channel! We’ve posted a lot of great videos about topics ranging from UTM to CCPA.


3. Learn by doing — the right way.

This kind of seems like a trick — “learn to do it by doing it.”

Nope, I have lots of tips and tricks that will really help you work smarter, not harder when it comes to learning marketing automation, depending on your exact situation!

If you’re already on a marketing automation platform: Utilizing your Customer Success team and support time is the absolute best way to get yourself going. I actually like to start my Mondays with a scroll through my favorite marketing automation blogs to read anything that has been published in the last few days. It always tends to put me in a creative and strategic mindset.
