Object Oriented PHP5 Software Developer

Self-sufficiency, applied intelligence and continual learning get us fired up. We have a small development team. This means that when we hire new team members we're looking for people who thrive in a relatively unstructured environment. It also means you have to know a lot about a lot and accomplish more than the average developer. We're looking for people who can lay out db tables, implement logic with solid OO coding skills and handle UI implementation to boot (you don't have to design the UI's).

Skills/Responsibilities include: Experience and knowledge of object oriented PHP 5 Familiarity and experience with standard OO concepts such as inheritance, variable scope, overloading and polymorphism Knowledge of advanced php5 object orientation - iterators, reflection, interfaces, magic methods Working knowledge of javascript, json and ajax transport with or without a framework or library Experience with OO frameworks a plus (Zend framework, solar, codeignitor, Symfony, etc.). Joomla and Wordpress experience does not qualify ;) Must be self sufficient - you will be expected to guide, research, develop, support and maintain major components of a SaaS application Must be willing to adopt Zend Framework/Pear coding standards and syntax with few exceptions
